It's a Great Time to Join a Book Club!

Looking for something new to read? How about joining a book club?

Now would be a great time to join the Warrenton Library Great Books Discussion Group - we've just made our selections for 2015 so you can hit the ground reading. The Great Books Discussion Group meets on the 1st Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Warrenton central library Program Room. New members are always welcome.

The Great Books Discussion Group will focus on the short story in 2015. Short stories, by definition, are more concerned with mood than plot and this leads to reader interpretation. This makes short stories perfect candidates for the “Shared Inquiry” method of discussion which is used by our Great Books Discussion Group and adopted from The Great Books Foundation.
