Spring Book Madness at the Fauquier County Public Library

Each year, when March rolls around, the term “March Madness” fills the air. You don’t have to be a fan of college basketball to know what we're talking about.  This year, the Fauquier County Public Library is holding a tournament of its own:  “Spring Book Madness.”

We know you are as crazy about books as we are, so this is your chance to join the fun and help select Fauquier County's favorite book. The bonus? It's a great way usher in Spring (yes, I am certain it is coming!)

The four divisions will be made up of 64 books from four different genres:
  • Fiction
  • Classics
  • Mystery
  • Thriller
Each week the categories will face off until we're down to the final two books. Voting begins Wed., March 19 and voting on the first bracket will end at noon on Tues., March 22.  Weekly voting will go as follows:

  • Wed., March 19 – Tues., March 25 at noon (week 1)
  • Wed., March  26 – Tues., April 1 at noon     (week 2)
  • Wed., April 2 – Tues., April 8 at noon          (week 3)
  •  Wed., April 9- Tues., April 15 at noon         (week 4)
