Starting
Feb. 28 the Warrenton Branch of the Fauquier Library will feature a display of
books that have been disguised in plain wrappers. Each book will have a few short descriptive
notes written on the wrapper to catch your interest, but the notes are just
enticements to let us fix you up with one of these books. You really won’t know what you’re getting
until you take the book out.
We’re putting up this display because we understand that sometimes it’s hard to make yourself try something new. A blind date with a book could be the start of a whole new romance. You might fall in love with an author you’ve never heard of, fall for a character you wouldn’t have expected to like, or even become infatuated with a whole genre you might not have otherwise tried. We think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Meet your blind date at the library on February 28th!
